Behind the Candles
“I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and have lived most of my adult life in beautiful Colorado. I have always loved the outdoors and possessed a passion for home decorating. Hand chiseling naturally beautiful granite, slate, and other stones into elegant oil candles, lazy susans, and serving candles has been a perfect fit for me. I use scrap granite from fabricators that is destined for our landfills. The wicks are fiberglass and with proper use should last indefinitely. These fiberglass oil wicks are efficient and economical as they provide the best flame shape and color in the candles. The oil reservoir is attached to the bottom on the candle, and a funnel is provided for filling purposes. The oil candle reservoirs are made from a sturdy glass that is permanent, simple to refill, and protects the environment.”
